“Chestnut, our resilient little warrior, turned 20 on March 5th! At 16, after her human mom passed away, she joined her human sister’s family and has since thrived in her new home. Despite facing significant health challenges including surviving a severe dog attack at 15, managing two heart conditions, and living with Cushing’s disease Chestnut remains spirited and full of life. Her days are filled with joy: indulging in multiple meals and snacks (she’s quite the foodie!), taking leisurely strolls around the house, and enjoying restful naps. Initially a bit bossy, Chestnut has formed close bonds with her two fur – siblings, embracing them as her own pack. Chestnut’s journey is a testament to her incredible resilience and the love that surrounds her. She has brought immeasurable joy to our lives and truly completes our family.
