Hi! My name is Alyssa Raup, and I’m 26 years old. I’m proud to say that I work with SaviDog LLC! I started working with SaviDog in June of 2023, but I’ve been around all types of animals my entire life—big dogs, small dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, and more! I began riding horses at the age of 4, and I currently have two horses, Doc and Blake. They are the best boys and definitely keep me on my toes! I spend a lot of time at the barn working, riding, and bonding with them. They are truly therapeutic, and horses will always have a special place in my heart. In 2020, my sister and I rescued two cats, Milo and Luci. While we were trying to get them fixed, we ended up with a litter of three kittens! It was definitely a learning experience having little kittens running around, but eventually, we found them all loving homes. That experience is something I’ll never forget!

I’ve always loved animals, and working with SaviDog has introduced me to so many different kinds! I truly love what I do here. Outside of animal care, I enjoy reading, hanging out at the barn, riding horses, spending time with my kitty Milo, and hanging out with my friends and their fur babies! I also love going to the beach, trail riding, and hiking with friends. Additionally, I’m currently finishing my degree in elementary education. This job has truly been a dream, and working with Savannah has made it even easier, more fun, and an all-around incredible learning experience!
